Wet Collections contain specimens of reptiles, amphibians, spiders, snails, etc., preserved in ethanol, formaldehyde and other liquid preservatives. These specimens are preserved in an air-conditioned room at ca 24°C, in glass jars inside custom-made,  fire-resistant metal cabinets. They are arranged in genus- or family-specific jars that are arranged in taxonomic order in custom-made drawers and cabinets. Curation protocols used for the Wet Collections are in line with the current protocols used in the Natural History Museum (London), and the American Museum of Natural History (New York, USA).
